Samsung is willing to follow Nokia which releases Windows 8-based phones. In a press release quoted from The Verge, a company known as the Android mobile phone manufacturer in the world is going to bring two mobile phones based on Windows 8. Two mobile phones have name codes Samsung Odyssey and Samsung Marco.
They have not announced when the launch of two new handsets. But they said that the two phones that will be encountered shortly after Microsoft officially released Windows 8 OS. Chances are, both these mobile phones will be launched in September and can be found on the market in October.
Both of these phones will also come with pretty good specs. On the processor, both are present with a dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM 8960 which has a speed of 1.5GHz. This processor is a processor that is used by Microsoft at the time of testing Windows 8 OS. So, this processor is designed for optimum performance of Windows 8.
In documents obtained by The Verge, the phone will be equipped with LTE and HSPA + connectivity with speeds up to 21 Mbps. Of course, WiFi is also going to be pinned on both mobile phones.
For Samsung Odyssey, Samsung uses Super AMOLED with 4.65 inch HD screen. In addition, at the back, you’ll be able to find an 8MP camera. At the front, there is a 2 MP camera that can be used for video calling or video chat.
While Samsung Marco has a smaller screen size, the Super AMOLED screen with 4-inch WVGA. For camera, this phone comes with a better quality, the 5MP camera on the back and 2MP on the front.
